00. What Hardware Do I use
Okay, here we go! This is just a quick introduction lesson to talk about the hardware that I use / recommend.

After Effects work well on both Windows and Apple computers. Differences may pop up due to the complexity of video and graphics work, but a good setup, some video know-how, and an organized workflow can handle them.

Benefits of macOS
Mac systems come pre-configured with well-matched hardware and software. For video work, a solid setup should include at least 16 GB of memory, SSD storage, an Apple M2 processor or faster, or a speedy Intel processor with an AMD graphics card

Benefits of Windows
Windows offers flexibility, the option to customize, and often lower costs. You can tailor the system to fit your requirements and budget.

What I recommend?
Minimum of 16gb of RAM (to keep the timeline responsive) at least 500gb of disc space (to keep all of the projects on your computer)

What I use?
I use a MacBook Pro with an M1 Max chip and 64GB of RAM for my motion design. It's a fast and powerful setup that helps me work on animations smoothly and quickly.

I also have 2TB of disc space - some bigger projects tends to be heavy so If you can afford bigger disc - go for it!

I also use Google Drive to keep my projects in cloud in case something would happen to my disc.
